Activity Overview

Learn more about alpacas and get to feed these charming animals with a visit at the Albuquerque Alpacas. This alpaca farm is a suitable destination for a fun family day out. Enjoy an exciting hands-on experience by getting a personalized private tour of this working alpaca ranch.

The owners of Albuquerque Alpacas, Skip and Stacie Chavez, started breeding alpacas as a hobby, but over time, their idea evolved and today the farm is home to a large number of Huacaya Alpacas. The tour includes a visit to the craft room, where you can see the spinning wheel used to transform wool into beautiful scarves and sweaters.
