Activity Overview

Cool Zoo is a water park attraction within the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans. It is one of the city's most popular summer attractions for children due to its exciting animal-themed water attractions, which include a lazy river, an alligator water slide, snakes that spit water, and a spider monkey soaker. There's also plenty of space on its sandy beaches where supervising adults can relax in a lounge chair in the shade.

Things to Do

• Find the splash zone that's best suited to your child's needs and splash in the water all day long! There are three different splash zones at Cool Zoo for older kids, younger kids, and toddlers.
• Check out the new Gator Run attraction, a 750-foot lazy river that's a great way to relax.
• Cool down in the summer heat while enjoying fun water features like water curtains and water cannons.
