Activity Overview

The story behind the Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve is one of connected thinking and teamwork in the community over a number of decades. Once simply a tract of unused land residents realized the potential of the area that would become Dinosaur Hill and with the city's help bought the land. Through the Preserve's history the local community has stayed closely involved organizing fundraisers and helping in other ways to improve the facilities there. Today the Preserve is kept busy throughout the year with visits from school groups, families and individuals who come to appreciate its beautiful flora and unique habitats.

Things to Do

• It is possible to organize you child's birthday party at the Preserve. As part of this package they will be led through fun activities with a naturalist both indoors and outdoors.
