The museum of History Miami is dedicated to preserving and presenting the history of Miami and South Florida through exhibits, collections, educational program and publications. The artifacts in the museum range from pre-Colombian pieces to contemporary items. The collection includes over 37,000 items and 550 cubic feet of archeological material. The museum holds walking, biking, ecological and coach tours as part of its learning program.
