Activity Overview

Landa Park is a 51-acre public park in New Braunfels, Texas, which is about an hour's drive north of Austin. If you're looking for a place where your family can have fun while spending the entire day outdoors, this park should definitely be at the top of your list. Its facilities include a lake, multiple swimming pools, a fishing pier, a miniature train, miniature golf, a golf course, a recreation center, an arboretum, and dozens of picnic tables with barbecues that you can use in the summertime. There are also multiple playgrounds, sports fields, and designated areas for activities like sand volleyball and horseshoes.

Things to Do

• Gather the family together and play a round of miniature golf! It costs just $3 per person to try to tackle the park's challenging 18-hole course.
• Take your little one for a ride on the miniature train that travels around the park or visit the playgrounds, including one play area that is designed to look like a fire truck!
• Stop by the Landa Park Boathouse to rent a paddle boat to take out onto Landa Lake. Rentals cost $3 per person for 30 minutes on the lake.
• Check out the Landa Park Aquatic Complex, which has an Olympic pool, a historic spring-fed pool with a slide and a zip line, and a zero depth pool for little ones to splash in.
