Activity Overview

Marconi Beach is a beautiful beach that is part of the Cape Code National Seashore in Massachusetts. Located approximately 2 hours away from Boston by car, the beach is named after famous Italian inventor Guglielmo Marconi, who transmitted the first transatlantic wireless communication from the nearby Marconi Station in 1903. Today, visitors can explore this historic area using a nature trail, swim in the ocean, and enjoy activities such as surfing and boogie boarding.

  • Go for a family hike along the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail, a 1.5-mile nature trail lined with all kinds of beautiful plants and trees.
  • Cool off in the summertime by going for a dip in the ocean or doing activities like surfing and boogie boarding.
