Materials Needed

  • A glass
  • Water
  • A piece of white paper
  • A sunny window

How to Do It

  1. Fill a glass with water and place it near a sunny window.
  2. Lay a piece of white paper on a flat surface in front of the sunny window.
  3. Hold the glass of water above a piece of white paper and watch as sunlight passes through the glass of water refracts and forms a rainbow of colors on your piece of white paper.
