Art lovers will appreciate the Abington Art Center and its impressive Sculpture Garden, located just 10 miles outside of Center City, Philadelphia.
A stately manor, the Art Center offers multiple, various programs, workshops, exhibitions and events designed to make art approachable and fun.
The Sculpture Park showcases the surrounding 27-acre woodland landscape and includes pieces from dozens of sculptors. One of the park's missions is to heighten environmental awareness.
Things to Do
- Workshops for all ages are offered at the Art Center and include such activities as painting and jewelry making.
- Enjoy an outdoor concert Thursday evenings in the summer. ($5 for adults and free for children.)

- Drop-in art activities are offered at the Art Center every Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
