Best Solar Garden Lights
Spring is finally here and it's time to get your gardens looking good again. In recent years, one of my favorite things has been to use solar garden lights outdoors in my landscape and along my driveway and walkway to my front door. I love a little lighting outdoors at night, but I hate for it to add to my electric bill, which is why I choose to use solar.
Over the years I've used a number of differnet brands and types of lights and my absolute favorites so far are these solar garden lights by Jessica Landscaping.
Compared with other solar garden lights that I've used in the past, these have a lot of advantages:
~ They are low profile and nice looking - of course, that is a personal opinion.
~ They are relatiely cheap, at under $17 for a package of 4 they are a great deal.
~ These garden solar lights utilize LED bulbs, which last longer and are more eco friendly
~ The lights are waterproof, so you don't need to be concerned about them getting wet as a result of rain or irrigation.
~ The battery is easy to access. The solar array on the top of the lights collects energy and saves it to the battery which is what causes the light to illuminate in the evening. So, easy access to change the battery when required is a good thing.
~ They are longer lasting than solar lights that I've used in the past. Many times, I would notice that my lights were no longer illuminated when I went to bed at night, but these stay lit at least 10 hours.
Overall, these are great lights that work well and are reasonably priced. They add some excitement to any garden or walkway and they can help save a little on your electric bill.
