Breakfast Basics for the Kids
The key to starting off your day right, if you have children, is getting out the door. Never mind getting out the door with a balanced breakfast inside you. You're happy if you're only wearingsome of your child's breakfast and it is totally okay because it is on your shoulder, your hair partially covers it and it kind of blends with the fabric so hopefully no one will notice. Feeding the children a good breakfast on the other hand is most likely in your best interest.

Now if you can get your morning coffee and drink it before it is cold, spills or left on the front porch then you'll be all set!
My hand held blender is my best friend in the morning. Some milk, frozen fruit and my "extras" (protein powder, powdered greens and chia seeds) make a great shake even my picky one will eat. Plus, no mess to clean up as I can make it right in the cup. I've noticed I feel better when I eat it, so I assume my kids do too.
