Easy Gingerbread House Kit: Pre-Assembled
Every year we decorate a gingerbread house with the kids. They have a blast using the icing as glue and pretend snow on the cute little house. And they are proud to show their creation to visitors over the holidays. If you have young children, the key to making it an easy project for everyone is to buy a Pre-Assembled Gingerbread House. Last year I bought the wrong one by mistake and it takes 3 times as long to put together - you have to glue the walls and roof together and wait for it to dry. Wilton makes many gingerbread house kits, including the pre-assembled one. All of them say pre-baked, but only one kind is pre-assembled too. And it is usually only a few dollars more. I usually see the pre-assembled ones in Linens N Things - so far this year I have not found them at Michael's or A.C. Moore yet. Have extra M&M's, marshmallows and other hard candies on hand since the candies included go quickly!
