Easy Substitutions for Cutting Carbs

If you are trying to cut back on eating carbs, you really do some easy substitutions  to make the low carb or South beach  diet lifestyle work for you. 

Men’s health has compiled  some  tasty substitutions   and I use many of them to make sure I am keeping my waistlines healthy.  Check out men’s health for even more ideas

1.       Spaghetti squash  substitute for spaghetti and noddles

2.        Summer squash for hashbrowns

3.       Cauliflower for mashed potatoes

4.       Zucchini noodles for lasagna

5.       Oatmeal and cottage cheese for pancakes

6.       Cheese sticks for Doritos and other cheesy chips(melt them in the microwave)

Using these tasty tricks will help you lowe the carbs in your diet.
