Easy Tips for Cleaning Stainless Steel
Stainless steel appliances can be tricky to clean. Water and cleaning products like Windex leave streaks that can be nearly impossible to remove. Stainless steel cleaners are available, but really, who wants more cleaning products lying around the house and besides, they can get really expensive.
Instead of buying special cleaners for cleaning stainless steel, try these easy tips.
~ Use Pledge. Seriously, it works. Just spray it on and then use a microfiber cloth or paper towel to wipe it off. You have to make sure to wipe until it is completely dry, but it works great!
~ For small cleaning jobs, just a dry microfiber cloth works really well. If your stainless steel appliance is wet, wiping it with a microfiber cloth until it is completely dry will leave it streak-free and looking clean.
A few drops of lemon oil on a microfiber cloth will clean your stainless steel and also help keep fingerprints at bay, - I use the lemon oil furniture polish, it is very reasonable and is the best thing I have found for cleaning my stainless steel appliances.
