Fabric Softener Does Double Duty on Wallpaper
A few years ago I moved into a place built in 1920 with the wallpaper to show for it. The paper had to go but I didn't want expensive, smelly and toxic chemical in my home or my lungs. Then I heard about mixing fabric softener and water to do the job. I mixed half and half for my hard job in a spray bottle. Then you score the walls, spray on the fabric softener mixture, and peel off the paper. Mine pulled off in sheets so easily. In no time I had clear walls and a house that smelled like fresh laundry.
