Family Friendly Atlanta
We recently went on a family vacation to Atlanta, Georgia and had a wonderful time. Our kids are 12, 9 and 3 so planning family trips can be a challenge to interest all age groups. The city has everything you could ask for: an incredible aquarium, a great zoo, plus a wide range of museums, from CocaCola to Natural History. We had an easy time getting around, and using the CityPass made it all very reasonable.
Personal agendas should not be posted on this sight. Thanks.
Atlanta is a wonderful city, BUT lately it has resorted back to shame and slavery! Slavery of dolphins in the GA Aquarium. These highly intelligent beings are being held captive against their will. Once able to swim up to a hundred miles a day, free in the ocean, they are confined to a man-made concrete pool where they can only dream of being free again. Shame on you Atlanta! Shame on you! Thanks for visiting the south. I am a native to Atlanta and still love the diversity and cultural offerings. There is something new even for us folks who have lived here for over 40 years! Stone Mountain is a family favorite tooas well as Amusement parks, Art Museums, Music of all kinds with several out door venues, Kid friendly parks, and I could go on and on. We are only about 2 hours from the Appalachain Trails and 2 hours the other direction to the beach!! We are so glad you had a good experience. Ya'll come back now. mamaKay
