Hands On Crafts For Kids: Fun crafting ideas
Hands on Crafts for Kids is a neat PBS show, and they also have a website where you can find all of the projects that they make on the show. They give full directions and list the supplies you need, and they recently added some videos of some of the projects. Their concept is that all of their projects take five steps and require five “ingredients,” or supplies. They give an age range of 7 to 12, but some projects are adaptable for younger kids, and I have found a lot of good ideas for projects with my four year old.
They rely heavily on styrafoam, which I find ironic since some of the projects are listed as Earth Day projects.
