How to Compost - A Great Family Activity
If you don't yet know how to compost, you'll want to take the time to learn. Composting is a great way to lower your waste while doing something that's good for the environment and your yard. Many people think that composting is difficult or that they can't do it because they live in an apartment or don't have a very large yard.
There are actually great ways to compost for everyone, including people who don't have a yard at all, or those who don't want a compost pile in their yard:
~ Compost Bin Tumblers come in many different sizes and allow you to compost quickly and easily without having the pile in your yard.
~ Composting indoors is easy to do using plastic bags, or even worms!
~ If all else fails, you can compost outdoors by simply putting your food scraps into a hole in your yard and covering it when full.
