Paraben and Phthalate-Free Baby Products
Parabens and phthalates are common chemical additives used in many different household products. While they make products smell better and increase their shelf life, they are associated with many health hazards. Both parabens and phthalates are linked with hormone dependent conditions such as breast cancer, early puberty in girls, and low sperm count in men, among many other potential health hazards.
Although nobody is immune to the side-effects of these chemicals, babies and children are particularly vulnerable to them because of their small sizes and developing immune systems. Many companies have come out with alternatives to conventional baby products. Many of these products are available at health and natural food stores.

If you don't have time to research products that truly fall under the paraben and phthalate-free category, here is a cheat sheet to take with you the next time you go shopping for baby products.
