I have been making my own shampoo for nearly 10 years now. I also make it for friends and family. Here it is:
You will get two bottles of shampoo. The first time you use this shampoo you will not get any suds (which is a chemical that is added to comercial shampoo products), rinse and shampoo a second time.
Also, the shampoo will be very thin so you will have to pour it directly onto you hair instead of into you hand. After you shampoo you will notice that your hair is real shiney and more managable.
You will also notice after several time of use that your hair is darker and thicker and maybe even longer. If you have gray hair, you will no longer have gray hair. This is an added benefit of this shampoo.
I found Castile bar soap at a local market, would that work? If so, do I need to grate and dissolve it?
Actually, I use my regular conditioner. Also, after you have reached the color you want you can reduce the days that you shampoo with this shampoo. I now use it once or twice a month and still retain my original color. As a matter of fact natural curly hair runs in my family but I only had naturaly wavy hair. Now my hair is real curly, it looks like I had a perm. I love it!!!
Can't wait to try this, do you have a recipe for conditioner?
Goodbye Ms Clairol. I can't wait to wash that gray right out of my hair the "Green Way!"
