Wonderful Kid-friendly Restaurant Near StoryLand...
If you are looking for a family friendly place to eat in North Conway, NH with a variety of dishes to choose from, plenty of space and even kids entertainment in the restaurant, check out the Red Fox Grille and Tavern. We recently ate here with a bunch of friends and their kids. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and clean. It is located 1 mile from Story Land and it is right on Route 16. The food was great and they even have a special kids area with a movie room and playroom. We only had dinner there but they have a Sunday jazz brunch buffet that I am hoping to try the next time we are up there.
The Blueberry Muffin has THE BEST BREAKFAST ever. And it's relatively inexpensive. A pancake that fills the entire plate is under $3 and more than enough to feed 2 young children.
My family also LOVES the Red Fox! We go every year for dinner after visiting Story Land. There is a great kid's menu, plenty of variety, and good prices. If you like potato skins you just have to try the terry glazed sirloin skins!! They are delicious!! : )
Great place to go. We went in the late summer and it wasn't bad at all. Good food, great atmosphere and service. We're looking forward to going back. Plenty for the whole family to do. The kids movie room was awesome.
Sorry, but I can't agree. We went here last year on our trip to Storyland, and I refused to return on this year's trip. The service was so bad, we were at our table for almost three hours. The food was also quite mediocre. This year we tried the Red Parka Inn and enjoyed it very much.
We went to the Red Fox Grille when we made our annual Storyland trip in June and it was EXCELLENT! We went to the Sunday jazz buffet and it was fantastic - wide variety, great quality and excellent price - we paid $6.95/each but was told that it would be going up to $7.95 each. Still an excellent price given the quality and quantity. And our 3 1/2 year old loved the music! Great place...and very clean!
This is a great restaurant. We prefer the dining room to the right because you can stay at your table and watch the kids play in the play area. The dining room to the left has a playroom but you can't dine & watch the kids at the same time...
