Activity Overview
Visit the Mini Park at the intersection of 24th and York streets in the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco. Newly renovated and nestled into a snug alcove, the park is clean and features a picnic area, splash pad, and a giant mosaic serpent!
The park also features two swings, a splash area, and a small merry go round.
Things to Do
- Admire the mosaics. The walls surrounding this small urban park are completely covered with an array of vibrantly colorful images.
- Sit at the benches and relax. Grab a coffee at the nearby café and watch your children play as you enjoy the sunny city oasis.
- Enjoy lunch at the picnic table area.
- Play on the mosaic serpent. This serpent appears among the surrounding murals and comes to life in 120 feet of climbing fun. It also shoots water out of its tail!
Mini Park Insider Tips
- 24th and York Mini Park does not feature public parking or facilities.
- Bring a towel even if you don't plan on getting wet. You never know how enticing the splash pad can be on a hot day.
