Take an exciting trip back in time and see earliest clocks and their clock makers to modern day wrist watches in the American Clock & watch Museum, located in Bristol, Connecticut. It is a unique museum keeping and preserving the oldest timekeepers, clocks and wrist watches, it is one of a kind museum in the world. The museum was established in 1952 and it displays 5,500 timekeepers, it is an extensive and largest collection of American-made timekeepers. The museum features a scavenger hunt for the families, many family-related events are held at the museum. The American clock & watch museum is operates April through December.

  • Current exhibit, Once upon a time, it features the use of clocks in children's books and other literature.

  • Many of these clocks still chime and strike upon the hour.
