Activity Overview
Do you want to spend the weekend playing on the field or in the water? At Bethesda Park, there's no need to choose! Aside from the 159-acre land with a lake, playgrounds, and walking trails, Bethesda Park is also home to an indoor aquatic center. The Aquatic Center features a huge water slide, a river channel, an area for hydrotherapy, and a ceiling spray.
Things to Do
- Get your play clothes and swimsuits ready. Start the morning with a walk or run at the trail surrounding the lake and take your kids at the playgrounds. You can also shoot some hoops at the outdoor basketball courts or practice your batting skills at the baseball field.
- Tired from the morning's activity? Bring out your picnic baskets and have lunch at any of the pavilions. There are grills in the pavilion too so you can definitely go for that BBQ lunch.
- In the afternoon, head on to the Aquatic Center for a relaxing time in the pool. There's a lap pool for adults and an area designated specially for kids complete with water play structures and sprays. Lifeguards are stationed in the area to watch over the kids in the place.
