Activity Overview
The Blanton Museum of Art is one of the finest university art museums in the United States. It is run by the University of Texas at Austin, and contains a permanent collection of over 17,000 works of art that include paintings, prints, and drawings from all over the world. It is especially known for its wonderful collection of European Paintings, which includes pieces by artists such as Parmigianino, Veronese, and Rubens. It's a great cultural institution to take children to in order to introduce them to art, especially since children 12 and under can visit for free.
