- Go swimming at the Blue Hole Swimming Area - it's open between Memorial Day and Labor Day each year. Teens especially love the rope swings that they can use to hop into the cool, clear water.

- Enjoy the natural atmosphere of the park by hiking along its trails and looking for wildlife like birds and small mammals as well as gorgeous wildflowers.
