Things to Do
- The Zoo's Wild Florida exhibit offer an amazing experience to really make you feel close to the Florida wetlands. Get into one of their kayaks and on a guided tour explore their 22 acres of restored wetlands. Elsewhere in the exhibit see alligators that can grow to as long as 13 feet, wolves, foxes, bald eagles, bob—cats and hawks.
- One of the Zoo's educational programs is the Zoo Tots and Toddlers program. As part of this series children between the ages of 2-4 are treated to a new topic every month that is based around the animals in the Zoo. It teaches them about nature and how to respect the beauty of the world around them.
- For another perspective on Brevard Zoo sign yourself up for a Treetop Trek. These fun obstacle courses will test your climbing abilities and your nerve as you climb above many of the zoo animals, including the alligators! The courses also include zip lines which are always fun. Plus you don't need to buy a zoo admission if you just want to come along for the obstacle courses!
