Browne's Irish Marketplace is the oldest Irish owned business in North America. Its history stretches all the way back to 1887 and in that time it has lost none of its Celtic charm. It roots to the Emerald Isle are still clearly maintained with plenty of Irish products and cuisine on offer for the public to buy.
Things to Do
- While you're visiting think about picking up some gifts for friends and family. There is a whole range of great Irish products on offer here for you to choose from. You can pick up Irish themed baseball caps, baby clothes rugby and soccer jerseys, sweatshirts and shorts. Or get something even more traditional with claddagh rings, Paddy caps, Celtic art and Bodhráns, a percussive instrument commonly used in Irish traditional music, all available.
- Fun events are organized throughout the year at the Marketplace. At Christmas it is turned into a Christmas wonderland with all kinds of festive gifts and products on sale. If you are a fan of Irish whiskey then you should try and catch one of their tastings which is usually held by an expert in the famous liquor. Or stop in for one of their mouth-watering traditional Irish breakfasts!

Imported goods directly from Ireland can be found including Cadbury's chocolates, black and white pudding, Bewley's and Barry's Teas and of course, Guinness. If you are an Irish ex-pat or if you have any Irish blood in you it should feel like coming home!
