Activity Overview

Create spectacular designs and patterns with permanent colored markers and bubble wrap. Yes, bubble wrap can be used for a variety of crafts, so we roll it up and add it to our craft closet. In this craft, you can use the backside of a sheet of bubble wrap and color in the individual circles to create vibrant designs of all kinds.

It is a fabulous quiet time activity for school age children and older to enjoy. You must use washable markers however, or else the marker will simply wipe away on your hands. This craft is so easy to do and you can also use scissors to cut the bubble wrap in a particular shape if you like.

Materials Needed

  • Bubble Wrap
  • Assorted colored permanent Sharpie Markers

How to Make It

  1. Lay the bubble wrap face down on the table.
  2. Use assorted colors of Sharpie Markers to color in the circular back side of the bubbles.
  3. Create patterns of color by coloring in each circle.
