Activity Overview
Travel about an hour from Louisville to the Buckley Wildlife Sanctuary & Audubon Center, where you will find over 370 acres of woodlands and meadows alongside the Kentucky River and 6 miles of trails that traverse various types of terrain, including two ponds surrounded by forest and a gorge with limestone, minerals and fossils alongside.
The Sanctuary is active in educating the public and provides presentations about nature and wildlife to thousands of teachers, students and families every year.
