Activity Overview
The Budweiser Clydesdale Stables in St. Louis, Missouri, are home to the world-famous Clydesdale horses. These magnificent creatures represent the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Company in their advertising campaigns including Budweiser's ever-popular Super Bowl commercials.
The Budweiser Clydesdales have been the company's mascots since 1933 when they paraded into the streets to mark the end of the Prohibition in the United States. Since then the Clydesdales have represented the brand at various events and those that graduate from Grant's Farm will find themselves in the stables at the Anheuser-Busch brewery in St. Louis.
The stables themselves are in a beautiful building made using brick and featuring some magnificent stained-glass windows. The building itself dates back to 1885 and if you wish to see it, you and your family will have to be part of a tour group taking part in the Anheuser-Bush Brewery tour.
Of course, a brewery tour may not appear to be an ideal activity for families with young children, but the tour is free, the tour is more than just beers, and the Budweiser Clydesdale Stables are a significant and fantastic part of the tour.
