Things to Do
- Captain John whale tours start out from Town Wharf in Plymouth. They head out to Cape Cod Bay and Stellwagen Bank where there is a high concentration of whales seeing as it is a primary feeding ground for the wonderful mammals in this part of the ocean.
- Each journey is accompanied by a naturalist who will explain to you all about the animals themselves and their behaviors so that the trip is not just entertaining but educational too.
- Captain John also offer deep sea fishing trips. These trips head out onto the sea at 7 am and return at 4 pm so you have plenty of time out on the waters to catch plenty of different types of fish. Cod, haddock, mackerel, pollack and flounder can all be caught; if you have an interest in one type in particular let the crew know and they will take you to the best spot for that species.
