Before you put your recycling out, check out this great toy building craft that you can make easily with your unused cardboard. Materials Needed
- Sharp Scissors
- Sturdy Cardboard
How to Make
- Cut your cardboard into 5 inch shapes. Squares and circles seemed to work best for us and were easiest to cut out, but you can also have success with octagons and triangles and more too.
- Next take each cardboard shape and cut a 1 1/2 inch slit straight toward the center of each side. For most shapes, you should have 4 slits that are even.
- Make as many as you would like.
To Play
- To build, slip the slits of different cardboard pieces into one another as shown in the photos above.
- Create amazing and creative three dimensional masterpieces as you slip one shape into another shape building on each other in any direction.
