Activity OverviewThe Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph is a historic Roman Catholic cathedral and basilica in downtown San Jose. In 1803, the very first non-mission parish in California was built on this site, but it was damaged in earthquakes and had to be rebuilt numerous times throughout the 1800s.
