Activity Overview

Cave of the mounds are exceptional limestone cave formations near Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, the cave has natural limestone formations, colorful displays of mineral deposits and many geologic wonders. Visitors can take guided tours of the cave of the mounds, visitors can also explore gemstone mine, fossil dig, butterfly gardens, hiking trails and picnic area. Visitors of all ages can enjoy cave tours that are offered year-round. Tickets for the cave tours can be purchased online.
