Activity Overview

Lots of farm fun and educational activiies await the entire family at the Center Grove Orchard. This beautiful farm is located in the center of Iowa and is the perfect place to experience activities such as daily hayrides, corn maze, corn pool, farm animals, pedal tractors, hay maze and so much more.

The Center Grove Orchard is home to the only Potty Barn in the Ames and Des Moines area. The farm offers a wide seelction of apples and pumpkins for sale, which include Vista Bella, Paula Red, Red Free, Cortland, Golden Supreme and many more others.

Not only you cna buy apples here fo your favorite pies or for eating fresh, but the entire family can engage in picking apples, which is a fun and rewarding activity.

Things to Do

• Take part in one of the numerous events that take place at the Center Grove Orchard. Examples include Art on the Farm, Ladies' Night, Brunch with Santa and Rudolph, Holiday Luncheons, and more.
• Children's Craft days are available most weeks when the farm is oprn. They allow the little ones to enjoy sweet treats and a cup of cider while working on their crafts.
• Get a Farm Pass, which is your ticket for full access to the fun activities at the Center Grove Orchard.

• Center Grove Orchard is only open in summer and fall. Check their website for opening dates when plannign a trip here.
• Bonfire nights are available for groups of 25 or more and they include various activities such as hayrides out to the corn maze and more.
