Chestnut Square Historic Village
Activity OverviewLocated south of the downtown McKinney Square, the Chestnut Square Historic Village is a collection of 6 replica historic homes that show how people lived in the area in from the middle of the nineteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth century. The entire family can discover a wide number of artifacts in these homes, as well as in the additional buildings on the ground, which include a smokehouse, a blacksmith shop and a historic chapel. The Chestnut Square Historic Village is easily reachable via Highway 75 to exit 40A in McKinney. Parking is available on Anthony Street nearby the houses. Things to Do
