The Children's Museum of Richmond has four different locations which each offer exhibits, programs and classes which aim to delight children while also exercising their mental and physical faculties. Things to Do

• All the Richmond Children's Museum's offer the same set of birthday packages for children of various ages. For non-members these packages range from $150 to $450 while a number of additional add-ons are available at extra cost. The most basic package includes a party room for 90 minutes along with basic party supplies. From there you can add goody bags, in-room activities and games, decorations and more. Customize to make the perfect day for your child!

• There are plenty of ways you can help out with the running of the Chesterfield location. If you have the time you could consider volunteering. It is a great way to gain experience for people young and old, you can get a full run down of their opportunities online. If you have a bunch of old books lying around gathering dust then you could give them to the Museum's Book Bank where they can be enjoyed by a new generation of children from low income backgrounds. Otherwise you can donate to the Museum's Annual Fund which contributes significantly to the Museum's operating budget or to the Scholarship Fund which gives under-privileged families the money they need to make a visit.
