Activity Overview
Sandwiched between Baker and Lands End beaches, China Beach is a beautiful secluded cove located southwest of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Offering stunning views of the Golden Gate, China Beach is a perfect spot to relax, beach comb, and picnic just steps from the bustle of urban San Francisco.
Things to See & Do
Pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic on the beach. Picnic tables are on location but limited. It will be just as enjoyable to spread out a blanket and picnic along the water.
If possible, visit during low tide. Children and adults alike will enjoy searching for shells, starfish, and mussels among the rocks.
Look for wildlife! Dolphins and Sea Lions can often be spotted along the shoreline.
