The Cincinnati Art Museum was founded in 1881 and is one of the oldest art museums in the United States. Located in the heart of Cincinnati's beautiful Eden Park, it contains over 65,000 works of art from all over the world. In addition to its fascinating exhibitions, the museum also offers a wide array of programs for young children, teens, and families that are fun, educational, and encourage creativity.

• Attend one of the museum's Family First Saturdays events, held on the first Saturday of the month from September through May, which include scavenger hunts, hands-on art activities, storytelling, live performances, and other special activities for families.

• General admission to the museum is always free, but parking does cost $4 per vehicle. If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take Metro bus #1 to the museum.
• Learn more about the fascinating artwork in the museum by taking one of their free public tours, including a tour that focuses on the highlights of the permanent collection and the interactive Family ARTventures tours that take place at 1:00 p.m. each Saturday.
• Create art with your child at Art in the Making, a class held on the third Saturday of the month that encourages children between the ages of 6 and 12 to develop their art skills with their parents.
