It features several self-guided nature trails with audio exhibits that families can explore on a nice day, as well as numerous picnic sites and an exhibit center. However, it is best known for its wonderful ranger-conducted classes, which introduce children to all kinds of nature-related topics, including tree rings, forest wildlife, and how paper comes from trees.
