Activity Overview
East Cobb Park in Marietta, Georgia is a community park that has many amenities, the park has a professional design and it was conceived by Friends of the East Cobb Park supported by the Cobb County Government. The park was established in 2003 and celebrated it's 10th anniversary as a community park in 2013. The park has playgrounds, picnic pavilions, walking trails, open grass fields and much more to serve the community. The 20-acre park is well kept and it is the most used and visited park in the Cobb county parks.
Things to Do
- The community park is a great outdoor recreational spot for the families, the park has open grass fields for playing, but no professional sports fields.
- The park has picnic pavilions that can be reserved for birthday parties.
- The park has a nice and safe playground with slides, swings and climbing structures for children to play. A separate area for small kids.
- There are walking trails for a stroll or running, creek overlooks, and an outdoor performance stage.
- Many events are held in the park that are family-oriented, including Sunday Fun-day event in Spring, mini Art camps for the children in Spring and the Summer.
- Holiday light celebration in the Holiday season features live music, meeting with the Santa, and lighting of a 40-foot tall park tree.
- Food items are not sold in the park, you should bring your own.
