Activity Overview
If you have discovered lots of fun activities that you would like to do with your family on this site, but you don't have time to do them all today; you are not alone. Try creating a family bucket list with the titles of the crafts and activities that you and your family would like to make sure that you try. This is a fun family activity and gives the family a great visual idea of what arts and crafts, games, recipes, movies and more that they would like to tackle.
Simply decorate a cylinder shaped container and write your activity goals on clothespins and clip them around the rim. When you want to complete a desired activity, search for it in the search bar on this site. After you complete the project or activity you can unclip the corresponding clip and drop it into the bucket. Use the used clothespins by searching one of our cool clothespin crafts. As you find more fun ideas to add to your family fun list, simply use your marker to write on another clothespin and add to the rim.
Materials Needed
- Coffee Can other similar container
- Colored Card stock
- Glue Stick
- Craft supplies to decorate with
- Clothespins
- Sharpie Markers
How to Make It
- Find a coffee can or another cylinder shaped container. We used a breadcrumb container.
- Use your card stock and glue stick to cover the container in your desired colors.
- Use any additional craft supplies to decorate your family bucket list container with style.
- Fill the bucket with clothespins and as you find an activity or game or craft that you want to do, simply write the name of it onto the clothespin with a Sharpie Marker.
- After you have written the activity down on the clip, Clip it to the top of the rim of the container. Continue adding ideas of special finds that interest you and clip them to the rim until the entire rim is full.
- When you have some free time, pick a clip and look it up in the search bar on this site and get started. Discard the completed clothespin task into the bucket.
- Tip: If your container gets a little bit top heavy from the weight of the clothespins, do not fret. Just add a few rocks in the bottom of the container to help keep it more secure.
