Activity Overview
Tongue twisters always bring on the giggles in our family. The kids love challenging each other to say the silliest of tongue fumbling twisters. One day when they were stumped and curious to discover more twisters to try, we decided to try out this create your own tongue twister group activity.
To play, you simply take turns answering some basic questions, but you must answer your question with the letter selected at the beginning of the round. Put all of the one word answers together in sentence form and try saying it three times fast.
Materials Needed
How to Do It
- Have one group member pick a letter and a name that starts with that letter.
- Each member of the group takes turns answering the questions listed below with a world that also starts with the selected letter.
- Each of the answers must have an answer that starts with the same letter of the alphabet.
- Create a tongue twister sentence by compiling the answers that each person gave.
- Each player should attempt to say that sentence three times fast.
- What did the person do?
- What was the object did they do it with?
- Where is the person?
- When did the action happen?
- Why did the action happen?
