Activity Overview
Davis Farmland is a fun family attraction located in Sterling, Massachusetts, approximately an hour west of Boston by car. Throughout the year, Davis Farmland provides family-friendly activities for children of all ages.
If you visit in the spring, your children can pet and feed farm animals, while in summer they can escape the heat at the largest zero-depth water spray ground in New England. Fall is also a great time for a family visit to the farm in order to pick apples and pumpkins so you can make some delicious homemade pies!
Things to Do
- Take your children to the Animal Showcase, where kids can pet, feed, and cuddle the largest collection of heritage livestock in New England. Activities include helping a farmer milk a goat and collect chicken eggs, pony rides, and safari hayrides.
- Visit ImagineAcres with your little ones, where they can use their imagination as they climb on structures, play in sand and water, explore the kiddie maze and pretend with play houses and a pretend campsite.
- In the summertime, take the kids to Play & Spray, where they can run around in the water and play with misters, sprinklers, and geysers. There's also a kiddie car wash and a bubble blast!
Davis Farmland Insider Tips
- Check out the Davis Mega Maze in the fall - over 8 acres of corn hold nearly 3 miles of maze paths where you can spend anywhere from a few hours to an entire day depending on the maze level you choose. Older kids will love the physical challenges like sling shots, water games, and obstacle courses.
- If your teen loves video games, let them experience one in real life by taking part in Davis X-treme Outdoor Laser Tag! Teams battle with lasers out in nature while hiding behind hay wagons and climbing trees.
- Don't miss the Adventureland area next to Play & Spray each summer. Adventurous kids will love riding around on the pedal carts, digging for dinosaur bones, building a cabin, and other fun activities.
