Dr. Suess National Memorial Sculpture Garden
Activity OverviewSpringfield, Massachusetts was the place where Theodore Seuss Geisel, or just plain Dr. Seuss, was born and as such it is the perfect place to put up a monument in his honor. In the center of the Quadrangle an area of Springfield which is home to five museums, is a sculpture garden which depicts many of the children's writers most fabulous characters and creations from his popular books. The park was designed by Lark Grey Dimond-Cates, Dr. Seuss' stepdaughter and brought to life by the artist and sculpture Ron Henson. Things to Do
