I just figured out a really safe & easy way to dispose of hot bacon grease.
Take a sheet of aluminum foil (2 if not heavy duty) and line a small bowl with it. Carefully pour the hot bacon grease into the foil and let it cool (solidify). Once it cools you can safely and easily put it in the trash.
Be sure to keep the hot grease out of reach until it cools.
So simple - it came in handy just this morning.
