Easy White Chocolate Chex Party Mix

Share:

This is a great easy recipe and a good gift to give to teachers, bus drivers and other people during the Christmas holiday season.  It is easy to make and really not that expensive.

1 lb. white chocolate chips
3 cups . Rice Chex
3 cups  Corn Chex
3 cups  Cheerios
2 cups  mini pretzels
2 cups   peanuts out of the shell
1 lb  M&M

Slowly melt white chocolate in top of double boiler over simmering water. Combine cereals, pretzels, peanuts, and M & M's in a large bowl. Slowly pour the white  chocolate  chips over mixture and stir to evenly coat. Spread the mixture on wax paper and cool. Break into small pieces. Store in air-tight container and refrigerate to keep fresh. Yield 12-14 cups.

You can put these in small containers to give away as gifts or to bring a party

You can do that. I had problems doing that one time so I like to use the double boiler method now.
