Try out this recipe for Edible Peanut Butter Play Dough. This fun and fragrant play dough will engage little hands and young minds in hours of play. Roll it, shape it, slice it, smash it and sculpt it into edible works of art.
This dough definitely works best if you place it in the refrigerator for an hour or more before playtime. The dough softens up quickly when warm hands are manipulating it. You may want to use cookie cutters or even have some small decorative pieces of food handy such as raisins or M & Ms to decorate your sculptures.
Materials Needed
- A Medium Bowl
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups powdered milk
- 1 Tbs honey
- Refrigerator
How to Make It
- Mix well with a wooden spoon: 1 cup of creamy peanut butter, 2 cups of powdered milk, and 1 Tbs. of honey.
- If the consistency is too sticky, add more powdered milk until it is the consistency that you like.
- Roll the dough into a ball.
- Place the dough in a sealed container or cover in plastic wrap for an hour or more before use.
