You have already earned superhero status, now every superhero needs a symbol. Design and display yours with this superhero craft torchlight. Shine your symbol as you save the world one brave mission at a time. There is nothing cooler than sporting your very own unique Super Hero Symbol.
Materials You Will Need
- Flashlight
- Colorful electrical Tape
- Clear Plastic Wrap
- Toilet Paper Roll
- Thin piece of cardboard
- Scissors
- An Elastic Band
- Markers or other desired decorations
How It Is Made
- Think about a unique design that you want to represent the superhero in you. Draw it on the thin cardboard and make it no larger than the diameter of the hole in the toilet paper tube.
- Stick your superhero symbol onto a piece of plastic wrap. If it is a letter, stick it on backwards.
- Place the symbol with the plastic wrap on the outside on the end of your toilet paper tube. Pull the plastic tightly around the tube and secure with an elastic band.
- Neatly tape the edges of the plastic wrap to the cardboard tube.
- Decorate the tube with markers or sequins and stickers.
- Children can place the flashlight over the open end of the tube and aim toward the ceiling or a wall just like the real superheroes do.
