Activity Overview

In the midst of the Old Historic District, one will find a renovated fire house serving as the nation's premier museum dedicated to the history of firefighting.

Things to Do

Firemen's equipment, uniforms and even 10 antique fire trucks are on display, along with a dressing room, chief's room, and an old wooden pump.

Don't miss the exhibit on Philadelphia's "Great Fire" of 1839, which destroyed 52 buildings.
